| Using a case study, barristers Hugh Morrison and Patricia Muscat will take you through practice and procedure relating to family provision claims in NSW, from the first conference with the client to a final hearing. This interactive workshop includes opportunity for discussion about key elements of family provision claims, and practical application including drafting affidavits, providing advice, and drafting consent orders. Aimed at practitioners with beginner to intermediate experience in family provision claims, the workshop has a practical focus and is designed to give guidance to the practitioner as to best practice conduct of a family provision case. A range of precedents, as well as a comprehensive paper, will be provided. Please note, this is an interactive workshop-style course. You will be required to turn on your web camera and microphone and participate in verbal discussions as required by the facilitators. |
